I used to own well over 2000 vinyl LPs back in the day and gave them all away to move to a different country (Toronto Canada to San Diego). It's a move I regret (sort of...I do not regret lugging around 20 or so milk crates from place to place), but something that I have come to peace with over the years as my CD collection grew. Starting my own music blog back in 2008 rekindled my obsession but, like yourself, family and other such responsibilities have curtailed my buying habits somewhat. I still buy the physical product and have become enamored with those "Deluxe Editions" as of late. Go ahead and say it: SUCKER! But really, it keeps me in the game so to speak, if you know what I mean. Involved, actively, and if better packaging (WAY better in most cases), better sound and bonus bits is the benefit in addition to being able to find them on Amazon for a song I think I'm stuck here for a while. Lastly, I'm with you completely on the whole "Best Of The Year" thing. Looking back most of my picks have ended up in the 'where are they now' files. Excellent post, absolutely loved it, great job, pip pip and catch ya later! Uncle Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04570327775449916376noreply@blogger.com
